My 1-on-1 sessions at Wisteria Acres with Krista and the herd were unforgettable.

When Krista’s calm, kind and wise energy joins the herd’s quiet magnificence, something magical happens. The strength and knowing you had forgotten exists within you bubbles up and you start getting a glimpse of what life can be with the best version of you in it.

I feel very fortunate that Krista and the herd are only an hour’s drive away from my home and I’ll definitely be back for more retreats and sessions. But I believe a Wisteria Acres experience would be well worth planning a special trip for.

Wow;  Scott and I (Hillary) both had the most MAGICAL experience in the meditation circle.   Thank you for holding the space for all of us to feel safe,  grounded and inspired (which I am)!   Cassi’s (and ALL the girls) energy along with the whole experience was beyond moving on every level.

I love the way that you hold space for me wherever I’m at, and help me to reframe things when I start to get off track. You bring such heart to all that you do, that I feel you provide a safe container for me to go deep into emotional blocks and explore new territory. I’m not sure I have ever felt so safe so quickly.  Krista you have such a natural and amazing ability to hold space for big emotions without being scared or overwhelmed and being completely non-judgemental. What a gift!

I think the most special experience was being able to show up fully as myself in all my messiness and it was all held with such gentleness, compassion, and safety. I felt so safe to really explore my emotions and be completely honest and ask questions because I knew that it was all welcome.

Wisteria Acres is a piece of heaven in Fort Langley.  I was fortunate enough to spend five days and four nights at a semi-private retreat at Wisteria Acres with my good friend Jan.

Wisdom, insight, support and gentleness is abundant with equine facilitator, Krista Brown and her amazing herd. My work with the horses was in one word “profound”.  Being a semi-private retreat the five days at Wisteria unfolded to meet our needs.  Krista assisted us in organizing a private Gong / Sound Healing as well as massages which completed the blissful week.

Thank you, thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I cannot believe how zen-like I feel. My break- through came because of the superb guidance and patience that you had given me. This has been the hardest work I have ever done with the biggest reward. Your sacred place provided the peace and calm that led to discovery of self for me. Thank you so much for yesterday!   You are a brilliant Guide, in every situation, with every person. With your guidance and direction, leading Cricket in the arena was the first time I understood – really understood! – how powerful thoughts are. How quickly I can align with my own power and how quickly I can fall out of it. It was the first time I actually experienced my own power. I will never forget it. I am in awe, absolute awe! Such deep gratitude to you and all of your herd.

It was life changing to experience the telepathic messages that were so specific for each person involved in a healing session. I was very moved at how effortlessly the horses communicated their insights and how gently and respectfully they offered their wisdom. Having a human facilitator as translator was priceless; Krista is a gift.

I have always been extremely analytical, particularly with regard to my own soul journey. Working with Krista and the horses at Wisteria, I was constantly surprised and amazed at the insights that came from a place that was not rational or analytical at all, but simply a well of spirit. There is something there that takes you off “autopilot” and lets you finally listen to what you’ve been trying to tell yourself. Can’t wait to be there again!

To say the least the two and a half days that I spent at Wisteria were amazing. The group dynamics were profound and I found them so enlightening/rewarding/supportive. My work with Cricket was truly surreal. I still have to shake my head to believe that she showed me how to truly feel what I honestly needed to feel. That time with her in the corral will stay in my heart forever.

I returned to Wisteria Acres on a 5-day semi-private retreat with a friend. From previous experience at Wisteria, I knew this was a place where I could feel safe and explore where I was at in my life. After many recent losses, cancer treatment and a major move in my residence, I was questioning much in my life and had become anxious & depressed.

Krista is warm & welcoming and her passion and guidance as a facilitator with the herd is inspirational.  With her guidance and Cassi and Rayne’s energy, I was able to connect back to my heart and begin to heal.

Thank you for organizing a Gong session and a massage.  All of our time there just flowed so beautifully.  Almost like we had all sat down together to plan this week and said “now that is just perfect“!   This 5-day retreat gave me the time to relax, share, reconnect with a friend and myself and laugh a lot.

I can not say enough about our moments spent with the horses. I never knew how intuitive horses can be. Looking into the eyes of the horses, it was like looking into their soul, and like they were looking into my soul. They understand me probably more than I understand me. The property, horses and Krista create and hold a safe place where I can simply have some time to be nurtured and nourished – in body, mind and spirit. I love it here.

I was feeling very stuck, uninspired, needing a change in occupation and found the idea of horse therapy intriguing. I was also drawn to how natural the entire process is: horses, nature and the outdoors. I had some anxiety the first day, which lasted about half the session and it never returned. I contribute this to both Krista and Cricket. Both are strong, beautiful beings who hold an incredibly stable space. Undoubtedly, this experience exceeded all my expectations!”

I appreciated how relaxed the sessions felt in terms of time, and how you took the time to stay with me and what I was experiencing. I never felt rushed or pressured to finish up. I liked how the activity for the session was determined by where I was at and what I was needing. I appreciated the insight you had during the pre-horse part of the session. The questions you asked were effective in getting me to dig deeper into healthy discomfort. You have a very strong intuitive sense of the messages the horses were giving me. After returning home, I would reflect on the messages and I would see how they made sense for what I was going through in my life.

Krista has a depth of soul, connection of passion and the will to manifest her destiny. She’s a rare combination of spirituality and groundedness.

On my way home to Gabriola and wanted to thank you from all of my heart for what you gave to me. It was the comfort of a safe place, the love received from your horses, all the while being embraced with your guidance. You are extremely gifted, much appreciated and very much loved.

I was honoured to be a part of the first Spirit Horse Wisdom Retreat at Wisteria Acres. The three days spent with Krista, April, the Herd, and a small group of other seekers was an unforgettable journey into the heart of Spirit, both individually and collectively. We were left with the memory of creating a synergy of peace, the vibrations of which will extend over time. It continues to lead to personal revelations.
